The GT86 G5 Plug-in is a standalone plug and play replacement for the factory ECU, plugging straight into the original wiring loom with no adapter harness needed.

Running the same microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro, it supports the 2.0L FA20 engine in Left-Hand Drive Toyota 86, GT86, Subaru BRZ, and Scion FR-S models from 2012–2021, with full control of both Direct and Port Injection.

  • Description

    The GT86 G5 Plug-in is a standalone plug and play replacement for the factory ECU and plugs straight into the original wiring loom — no adapter harness needed — and comes with a sample map for a tuning head start. The GT86 G5 Plug-in processing unit runs the same powerful microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro. Designed for the 2.0L 4U-GSE/FA20 H4 engine. Support for both Manual and Automatic Transmissions.

    Notes

    • Due to the very tight nature of the factory ECU location, the LHD and RHD mounting methods differ
    • 2017+ models have a Hall Effect crank sensor instead of Reluctor — Trigger 1 Type must be changed to 'Optical/Hall' and Trigger 1 Pull-up set to ON
    • 2017+ models have a different DI Fuel Pressure sensor (4-pin instead of 3) — requires 8.2kohm pullup resistor and updated calibration
